Dog-friendly travel

I'm Julie. I live in Belgium, I love to travel, and I have a golden retriever named Cooper who comes everywhere with me. Or at least — he's supposed to. For years, booking a trip meant a second, frustrating search: which of these places actually welcomes a dog? The answers were almost always incomplete, often misleading, and occasionally insulting.

I wanted somewhere that told me: is the dog allowed inside? On the sofa? Is there a garden? A dog bed, a bowl? I couldn't find a single place that answered all of that, consistently, across Europe. So I built it.

"I'd find accommodation marked pet-friendly, arrive, and discover that meant the garage. Or a €50 surcharge. Or a host who visibly regretted saying yes."

Cooper the golden retriever

Meet the co-founder

Cooper.

Four years old. Golden retriever. Enthusiastic about everything, appropriate about nothing.

He has strong opinions on sofas (all of them, ideally), wild swimming, and whether the host's cat wants to be friends. They don't, Cooper.

He is the reason CooperStays exists and the reason every listing is checked for a sofa policy.

His approval rating, among stays visited, is 100%.

Our standard

"Dog-friendly" means something specific here.

01

Inside, not just outside

Dogs are allowed in the main living areas — not confined to a utility room or garden. We confirm whether they're welcome on the furniture, and we say so clearly.

02

The full dog policy, upfront

Size limits, number of dogs allowed, any fees, what's provided. Every listing shows the complete picture. No small print. No surprises on arrival.

03

Personally verified

Every listing is reviewed before it goes live. We verify dog policies directly with hosts. If it doesn't meet our standard, it doesn't appear.

For hosts

Your property deserves guests who actually love dogs.

Flat annual fee. Zero commission. A verified listing that reaches the right people.
